Costa Rica arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Costa Rica?

No. Costa Rica doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form before they travel. Customs declaration is only needed when carrying goods beyond luggage; no online pre-arrival form.

Do I still need a visa for Costa Rica?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Costa Rica's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
