Bulgaria arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Bulgaria?

No. Bulgaria doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form before they travel. EU Entry/Exit System biometric registration happens at the border; ETIAS for visa-exempt nationals is planned but not yet operational.

Do I still need a visa for Bulgaria?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Bulgaria's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
